Puget Sound Venture Club Membership Merges with The Alliance of Angels
Seattle, September 20, 2023. Two long-time supporters of the Northwest startup ecosystem announced today they are combining their membership. The Puget Sound Venture Club members will be integrated into the Alliance of Angels thereby bringing together the expertise and fundraising impact of both organizations to the benefit of the local startup community.
The Puget Sound Venture Club (PSVC) started in 1985 and was one of the early pioneers of angel investing in the Seattle area. Over the past 38 years, PSVC members have invested approximately $220 million in over 1,350 companies. Companies like Starbucks, DocuSign and Coinstar (now Outerwall) have gone public.
Gary Ritner who founded and ran PSVC for the past 38 years has been a dedicated and highly impactful leader in the Northwest angel investing community. As part of this merger both Gary Ritner and Chuck Porter will join the AOA’s Board of Directors.
